Vail has updated their requirements for masks consistent with most areas in the country and CDC guidelines. Please see below and on the Safety Protocols page on our website for details. Within Vail premises please adhere to the following guidelines:
- Vaccinated patrollers are no longer required to wear a mask on or in the premises
- Unvaccinated patrollers are encouraged to wear masks in the facility
- Exclusion protocol for positive COVID-19 cases is still in effect.
We encourage all patrollers to get a vaccination, but are not requesting any proof of vaccination when you come to the first aid room. Most of the posters and reminders in the patrol room will be removed, but we urge you to still maintain normal precautions when working in close contact with others.
