The November 7 “On-the-Hill” consists of CPR, lunch/meeting, group picture, and lift evacuation training. Information about each event will be disseminated in a piecemeal fashion in the coming weeks. Following are requirements for your CPR recertification or demonstration of skills:
All patrollers who need to certify in BLS should show up by 8 AM.
If your current card expires after March 2022, you will need to “demonstrate” and go through the skill stations only.
If you need a new card, you have some extra requirements. Sign in on the excel spread sheet that will be available at check-in. You will also need to pass a written test. We are using ASHI (American Safety and Health Institute) as our certifying agency now. They allow for “open-book” tests. You will have the opportunity to take the test on Nov 7, or you can do so in advance by printing and filling out the answer sheet. Please bring it with you on Nov 7.
