Info About Passes

I have been given some basic information about Volunteer and Dependent Passes.  Please anticipate that this process will not be “perfect,” especially since this is the first year for the Dependent Pass.  There will be glitches.

The MRM office is supposed to processes our passes this week.  If you need to do a window transaction, they will be there this Saturday, 12/11, 10:30 – 11:30.  I will make sure that priority is given to those that come earlier to help with the FUCU.  The office will also be open next week, M-F, 10am – 5pm.  We are asked not to stand in line at the window on opening day.  If you do not have your pass(es) by then, you will have to wait for another day.

If you have a pass from last year, your pass is supposed to get re-activated – no reason to go to the office.  I expect that an active 2021-2022 Volunteer pass will then be identified on your Epic account.  I will be checking my account to verify.

If you did not have a pass from last year, you will have to go to the office at above mentioned times.  As previously communicated on several occasions, you should have established an Epic account and uploaded a picture.  If you have not uploaded a picture by now, just wait until you go to the office, they will take your picture in person.  It takes up to seven days for the system to process a customer-uploaded photo.

If you want to purchase an $80 dependent pass, you will have to go to the office at above mentioned times.  As previously communicated on several occasions, you should have established an Epic account, added dependant(s) as household member(s), and uploaded a picture(s).  If you haven’t uploaded a picture, have your dependent with you or have a picture of them on your phone.  Information about who is an eligible dependent has previously been posted.

To make things go more smoothly, I have been asked to provide a list with Patroller name, dependent name, and dependent birthdate.  We are going to generate this list through our website.  Go to MEMBERS/Ski Patrol P&P, Privileges and then click on the blue “DEPENDENTS.”  Fill in accordingly.  Do one form per dependent. This list will be taken down on Friday morning.  It does not mean that you can’t get a dependent pass, just that you may have to wait longer in line.

If you want credit or a refund for a previously purchased 2021-2022 Epic pass, you will have to go to the office at above mentioned times.  I suggest that you have both your Epic pass and Volunteer pass with you.

I realize that this is a long posting, but this is a complicated process.  Please be patient, be nice to the person in the office who is helping you, and it will all work out.

Also, I have also been provided with the following info:

Blackout dates

  • Patroller pass restrictions out west: 12/26-12/31, 1/15, 2/19-2/20

Think SNOW!
