MRM Patrol News – 9/20/21

On Sunday, Sept 19, about 30 people gathered at MRM for the OEC Instructor Refresher.  After a long day, OEC Instructors are putting the final touches on preparation for the OEC Regular Refresher on Sunday, October 17.  It was good to see a lot of familiar faces again after a long summer.

I hope to see more of you at the OEC Regular Refresher and the November 7, “On-the-Hill.”  Details about these events can be found on our web site in the Member Resources area.

Update on Volunteer Passes – If you had a volunteer pass last year, I have been told that it will be used again this year.  It will not be activated until the season gets started.  No window transaction needed.

If you do not have a Volunteer Pass (new to MRM or did not patrol last season,) you can get ahead of the game by establishing an Epic account and uploading a picture.  Go to epicpass.com/sign in/create an account.  This does not cost any money.  Make sure you upload a picture.  More info on how to get your volunteer card will be forthcoming.

I do not yet know the specific details about how to obtain a Dependent pass.  I do know that your qualified dependent will have to be on your Epic account with their picture properly uploaded.  You can do that now.

For info about the Dependent pass, go to our patrol website under Member Resources / Ski Patrol P&P, Privileges.

Please explore our patrol website.  Our webmaster has put a lot of information on it about upcoming patrol events.
